Final Preparations For GB Team In La Plagne
Thanks to the support provided by UK Sport and the British Olympic Association our team headed to La Plagne, France last week to make their final prepataions for the Olympic Games. The camp hasn’t been all work for the 3 athletes and staff. One of the team’s key goals for the week was to relax and have a little fun before the big event.

European Championships – St Moritz
Shelley Rudman produced two of the best runs of her career to take the European Championships silver medal behind reigning World Champion Maya Pederson of Switzerland.

World Cup Race 5 – Konigssee
Kristan Bromley returns to the World Cup podium in Koniggsee. The silver medal was won with a fine second run performance which moved the Bath based slider up to 2nd place from his 6th best first run performance.

Talent Identification
Bob skeleton is one of Britain’s most successful winter sports. To continue the tradition of excellence, each year they recruit a squad of 4 athletes (age 16-24 years) to enter our high-performance pathway.
